When you're ready to begin your journey towards a new kitchen or bath, you will find that each company has their own way of getting started. Over the course of 30 years of remodeling kitchens our clients have found this procedure to be most beneficial and concise to their needs.
The initial meeting with a designer is done by appointment in our showroom.
At this time you can get answers to whatever you feel is most important to you.
Possible areas to discuss are as follows:
• Design • Products • Budget • Services • Layout
In our showroom we can demonstrate our products, discuss how the project will unfold, determine your needs, develop preliminary drawings and give a rough estimate of what budget would be required. Items you may want to bring for a more accurate estimate are rough sketches of your room dimensions, clippings from magazines of items that you like or pictures of the room to be remodeled.
If after your initial showroom consult you wish to go further, the next step is an in-home consultation. At this time pictures and accurate measurements are taken and an inspection of your mechanicals are done. This is to insure that the presentation and proposal are as accurate as possible. Different layouts and ideas can be discussed in more depth and detail, taking into account the style of the house, traffic patterns in the room, natural lighting and other potential ideas you may have.
The next step is the presentation in our showroom. Here you will see floor plans, 3D perspectives, elevations, top views, and products incorporating all the ideas to be used from the previous meetings. A detailed proposal is presented including a formal breakdown of all materials and labor. At this point you will have all the information required to make an informed decision on which company you want to entrust your remodeling project to.
If Kitchen Concepts is your choice, then the next step is the Selections phase. Here is where all details are decided and fit into place to make your kitchen or bath unique. Details are customized to your preferences and tastes to give you your dream kitchen or bath. There may be modifications to the layout: cabinets, tops, appliances and other products are chosen at this point. These decisions are usually made over a few meetings, taking as much time as is required to get the final product to be exactly what you want. When all decisions are made, then the contract is signed.
After the contract is signed, we start the process of obtaining all materials and reserving the installers for the start of work date. We believe in having all materials ready for installation, when practical, before the removal of the old room begins. The length of time to complete the installation varies with the size of the project, but everything is done to try to keep the length as short as possible. At the end of the project, we are not finished until you say we are.
Finally, we stand behind all product manufacturer warranties, as well as our own complete one year warranty, covering all labor and materials.
